Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information the mobile game Weapon Ball Arena (the “Game”), published by Solar App (“we”, “us”), collects, why we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have. It applies to the Game on Android and iOS and to the game server it connects to.
1. Summary
- There is no sign-up. We never ask for your real name, email address, phone number or a password.
- Your progress is linked to a random ID that the Game creates on your device.
- Ads are served by Google AdMob and AppLovin MAX. Personalised ads are shown only with your consent where the law requires it, and on iOS the advertising identifier is used only if you allow tracking.
- We use Google Firebase for analytics, crash reports and remote configuration.
- We do not sell your personal information.
2. Information we collect and process
Install ID and game profile. On first launch the Game generates a random identifier (the “install ID”) and stores it on your device. It is sent with requests to our game server and is the only key to your profile. On the server we store: the install ID, the nickname you choose (visible to other players), coins, gems, balls owned, ball levels and shards, player level/XP, rank, match results and statistics, daily shop state, daily counters (for example rewards claimed and rewarded ads watched), unopened packs and whether you bought “No Ads”.
Online matches. The choices you make in a match (selected ball, aim) are sent to our server, which runs the match and sends the result to both players. Your opponent sees your nickname, level and the balls you play. Match room data is deleted when the match ends.
Purchases. Payments are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store; we never receive your card or payment details. The Game sends the store’s purchase token or signed transaction to our server, which verifies it directly with Google or Apple. We record the order/transaction ID, product, platform, time, what was granted and whether it was refunded. Purchases are tagged with your install ID (Android, as the obfuscated account ID) or an identifier derived from it (iOS, as the app account token) so they can be matched to your profile.
Rewarded-ad verification. When you choose to watch a rewarded ad, our server issues a one-time code. The ad network (AdMob or AppLovin MAX) then sends our server a confirmation containing that code, a pseudonymous ID derived from your install ID (not the install ID itself), the ad unit, the reward and a transaction ID. We keep these records for 30 days.
Technical data. Our server runs on Cloudflare. When the Game connects, Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details (time, address requested, app version information) to deliver the service, secure it and limit abusive traffic. We do not store IP addresses in our game database; operational logs are kept only for a short period.
3. Third-party services in the Game
The Game includes the following software development kits (SDKs), which collect data under their own privacy policies:
- Google AdMob (Google) — policies.google.com/privacy · policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
- AppLovin MAX (AppLovin) — applovin.com/privacy
- Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config (Google) — firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- Google Play — policies.google.com/privacy · Apple App Store — apple.com/legal/privacy
- Cloudflare (hosting) — cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
Advertising (AdMob, AppLovin MAX and the ad networks MAX works with). These SDKs may collect your device’s advertising identifier (Android advertising ID; on iOS the IDFA only if you allow tracking), IP address and approximate location derived from it, device and app information (model, operating system, language, app version), ad interactions (impressions, clicks, completions) and diagnostic data. They use it to show ads, measure ad performance, cap frequency, prevent fraud and, only where you have consented (or where consent is not required), to personalise ads.
Firebase Analytics collects usage events (for example app opens, screens viewed, ad impressions and ad revenue), an app-instance ID, device model, OS version, app version and country. It follows your consent choices: where consent is required, analytics storage stays off until you agree.
Firebase Crashlytics collects crash reports (stack trace, device model, OS version, app version and a Crashlytics installation ID) from release builds, so we can fix bugs.
Firebase Remote Config downloads settings for the Game (for example which ad network to use) and uses a Firebase installation ID.
4. Consent and your advertising choices
- EEA, UK, Switzerland and other regions where required: the Game shows a consent form provided by Google’s User Messaging Platform (IAB Transparency & Consent Framework). You can change your choice at any time in the Game: Settings → Privacy options (shown when it applies to you).
- iOS: the Game asks for permission through App Tracking Transparency. You can change it in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings (Google → Ads, or Privacy → Ads).
- If you do not consent you may still see non-personalised ads; ad partners may still process limited data (such as IP address) for frequency capping, fraud prevention and measurement where the law allows.
- Buying “No Ads” removes interstitial ads. Rewarded ads are always optional.
5. How we use information
- To provide the Game, save your progress and run online matches and matchmaking (players are matched by level).
- To deliver purchases and ad rewards, and to prevent fraud, cheating and abuse.
- To diagnose crashes, fix bugs and improve the Game and its balance.
- To show ads that fund the free Game.
6. Legal bases (EEA/UK)
We process data to perform our contract with you (providing the Game you asked for), for our legitimate interests (security, fraud and cheat prevention, crash diagnostics, improving the Game), with your consent (personalised advertising, and analytics where consent is required — you can withdraw it at any time) and to comply with legal obligations (for example accounting records for purchases).
7. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with: our service providers (Cloudflare for hosting, Google for Firebase); the advertising partners listed above, according to your consent choices; Google and Apple to verify purchases; other players (your nickname, level and balls during matches); and authorities when required by law.
Under some US state laws, ad partners’ use of data for personalised advertising may count as “sharing” or “targeted advertising”. You can opt out through the consent form, App Tracking Transparency or your device’s advertising settings.
8. International transfers
Cloudflare, Google and AppLovin may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. They rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. Data retention
- Game profile: kept while you play and until you ask us to delete it. If you uninstall the Game or clear its data, the install ID on your device is lost and the profile can no longer be accessed.
- Purchase records: kept as long as needed to handle refunds, prevent fraud and meet legal and accounting obligations; they are unlinked from your profile when you delete your data.
- Rewarded-ad verification records: 30 days.
- Match room data: deleted when the match ends.
- Third-party SDK data: according to each provider’s policy.
10. Your rights and deleting your data
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your data, to data portability, to withdraw consent and to complain to your data protection authority.
To delete your game data, use the delete-data option in the Game’s Settings if your version offers it — it erases your profile from our server immediately — or contact us at the developer contact details shown on the Game’s page in Google Play or the App Store. Because there is no account, we may ask for details shown in the Game to find your profile. Uninstalling the Game alone does not delete the server copy.
11. Children
The Game is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. Ads are requested with a teen content rating. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under the minimum age set by law in your country). If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Security
All traffic between the Game and our server is encrypted (HTTPS/WSS), access to the server and database is restricted, and we store no passwords or payment details. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, for significant changes, give notice in the Game or on its store page.
14. Contact
Questions or requests about privacy: the developer contact details shown on the Game’s page in Google Play or the App Store. See also our Terms of Use.
